DerRic Starlight is a truly original entertainer creating fun for the whole family with his unique brand of Aboriginal puppetry and comedy. Hailing from the Tsuu T’ina Nation west of Calgary, Alberta, DerRic has travelled with his Aboriginal puppet characters and his amazing roster of over 275 voices to audiences across Canada, United States, New Zealand, Hawaii, Tahiti and Japan. He also keeps busy as the voice of four characters on The Muppet Show. DerRic’s performance is sure to dazzle kids of all ages! Plus, staff members of the Children’s Literature Service of Library and Archives Canada will read from a selection of writing for children by Alberta authors.
