We invite you to come and listen to the beautiful interpretations of Franz Liszt’s Années de Pèlerinage 2ième année: Italie, “Sonetto 123 del Petrarca” and “Après une lecture du Dante” and Joseph Haydn’s Sonata in A flat Major played by Calgary-born pianist, Daniel Moran. Winner of an impressive assortment of national and international awards such as two prizes at the International William Kapell Piano Competition in Washington D.C, Daniel has been featured as soloist and in chamber music performances to receptive audiences in Canada, Europe and Japan. With the support from the Canada Council and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts Daniel Moran has completed an Artist Diploma at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto with André Laplante and is currently enrolled in a Doctorate degree program at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Marc Durand.
