Over the past few years, Ann Vriend has been to New York to record her songs at Sony Studios, made a highly successful appearance at the Edmonton Folk Festival, returned to New York to give performances at such legendary clubs as The Bitter End and Arlene’s Grocery, and won first prize in a song-writing contest, which led her to Nashville. Ann recently released her debut CD, Soul Unravelling, which features her rich powerful voice, intelligent poetic lyrics, and grooving tenacious melodies.
