This lively, accessible program features 14 short films in various cinematic styles tackling themes of identity, materialism, community, gender, race, and Alberta history. It is a freewheeling set of works that includes short drama, documentary, silent movies, animation, and a few experimental films, as well. This programme demonstrates the diversity and range of independent film and video-making in contemporary Alberta and Film-makers featured on this programme are Art Curry, Lorna Thomas, Daniel Dugas, Michelle Wong, Aaron Munson, John Kerr, Richard Reeves, Brian Rusted, Nicole Mion, Afzal Huda, Sharon Stevens, Sandi Somers, Farrah Alladin, Tansy Wong, Eva Colmers and Christina Battle.
